I think that it is a better thing to be a greaser because they seem to have great personalities. They all have a personality of their own and have character. Although the book is based on a Greaser, and we don’t know much about the Socs, the Socs seem to have no character. They all seem to have the same personality. Like a mold. Everyone is molded together. The Greasers have much more of a personality.
I think the greasers are better people is because, well they don’t jump out of cars to attack innocent civilians out of seer boredom but they do have more personality. I think being poor gives a person a personality, maybe not a good personality, but at least a personality. I think the socs and greasers have an equally bad life because the greasers have to deal with the constant threat of being ambushed by the socs and sometimes being ambushed by another greaser gang. And the socs have empty lives, always having everything but always wanting something else. You can see that the socs and the greasers have about equally difficult lives.
